At King’s College Wimbledon Ho Chi Minh City, we understand how important your child’s first years at school are. Our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is a two-year programme designed to help children feel happy, confident, and excited about learning. Each class is supported by caring and experienced teaching assistants, alongside class teachers. Children also enjoy specialist lessons in Art, Music, and Computing, as well as gentle exposure to Vietnamese language through fun, informal activities. Weekly visits to the library are always a highlight!
Our Early Years children benefit from a safe, stimulating play area with a wide range of activities, including ride-on toys, sand and water play, drawing, and imaginative “small world” games. These activities are designed to develop creativity, independence, and social skills in a fun and natural way.
During the cooler months, children spend more time learning outdoors, where they explore art, physical activities, mathematics, and language through hands-on experiences. Our classrooms and outdoor spaces are vibrant and full of engaging, multi-sensory activities to support every child’s development.
We believe that children learn best through play. This is at the heart of our Early Years approach, helping children build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
The curriculum is divided into seven key areas. We provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can explore freely and develop at their own pace.
To make learning even more meaningful, we organise trips and invite special visitors into school. Parents are warmly invited to join school events and performances, allowing you to share these special moments with your child.
Our classrooms are well-equipped with modern resources, including interactive whiteboards, and we proudly display children’s work to celebrate their achievements.

We ensure a smooth and confident transition from Early Years into the Infants stage. In Infants, children follow the English National Curriculum, which we adapt to reflect our international community and to help students become global citizens.
Whenever possible, we take children on trips to enrich their learning, for example:
We also invite visitors with special skills to inspire and engage the children.
At King’s College Wimbledon Ho Chi Minh City, we aim to create a joyful, supportive environment where your child feels safe, develops confidence, and discovers a lifelong love of learning.
